About
Shelf evidence for packaged-goods decisions
Ridgefield Sector Watch helps brand and trade teams understand what is actually launching in consumer packaged goods—on the shelf, in the pack claims, and across the banners that matter in Ho Chi Minh City.
Official name and history
The official registered business name is Ridgefield Sector Watch Co., Ltd. The company was established in 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City after category managers asked for a steadier way to track rival launches than informal trade chatter.
Early work focused on beverage and personal-care resets in Binh Thanh and neighbouring districts. Over time the practice widened to household care and selected food categories, always with the same discipline: dated store visits, photograph-backed notes, and briefings written for people who must brief retailers the following week.
How we work
We agree a category, a store sample, and the questions your team needs answered. Field walks and desk review then feed a written product—quarterly watches, dossiers, visit-day audits, or pre-launch briefings.
We stay close to materials of the trade: price rails, facing counts, shrink sleeves, secondary displays, and the difference between a festival wrap and a lasting planogram home.
People and values
Our analysts combine store observation with category writing. We favour clear language over spectacle, and we keep client work confidential. When evidence is thin, we say so rather than filling the gap with guesswork.
Vietnam’s modern-trade rhythm—resets, Tet windows, banner promotions—shapes every engagement. We are based at 452 Le Quang Dinh, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, and we welcome briefing conversations by appointment.
