Refunds and rescheduling
These terms apply to professional briefings commissioned from Ridgefield Sector Watch Co., Ltd.—not to retail products or software subscriptions.
Eligibility
Refunds depend on how far the engagement has progressed. Deposits secure scheduling and preparation; they are treated differently from final balance payments.
Timeframe to request
Write to hello@system-ridgefield.click within 7 days of the event that triggers your request (cancellation, material scope change, or delivery concern), and no later than 14 days after the scheduled delivery date for that phase.
Full refund
A full refund of fees paid is available if we cancel the engagement for reasons on our side, or if you cancel in writing before we begin desk preparation or field visits for that engagement.
Partial refund
If work has started—scope interviews completed, store lists locked, or field visits begun—we may refund the unused portion after deducting time and costs already incurred. Mid-quarter watches already delivered are charged for the periods completed.
Non-refundable items
- Completed dossiers, observation reports, and delivered quarterly notes
- Third-party costs expressly approved by you (for example special store access fees)
- Administrative deposit once preparation has begun, up to 30% of the engagement fee unless otherwise stated in your scope letter
Refund process
Email hello@system-ridgefield.click with your company name, invoice number, and reason. We confirm eligibility within 5 business days.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method or bank transfer within 14 business days after approval.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a briefing session or visit day once without fee if you give at least 5 business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling charge reflecting analyst and travel commitments.
No-shows
If your team misses a confirmed briefing call or on-site session without notice, that session is treated as delivered for fee purposes. We will offer one courtesy rebooking at our next available slot.
Work already started
Field photographs, launch logs, and draft pages prepared before cancellation remain our working papers. Summaries already shared with you stay with you under the original licence.
Materials
Light product sampling purchased for observation is a cost of fieldwork and is not returned as goods. We do not sell packaged goods.
